Turnbuckle Analysis
The Minimum Turnbuckle Diameter was determined by assuming a 100 N force was applied to the end of it causing compression. The diameter was found by arranging the normal stress equation and solving for D. The minimum diameter calculated was .74 mm but a 3 mm diameter is used.
