Front Shock Tower Analysis

Figure A.9 Shows the Shock Angle and Distance from Tower analysis. The Shock Tower height was assumed to be 74 mm and the shocks that were purchased had a compressed length of 75 mm. It was necessary to find these dimensions to determine the width of the top of the shock tower.

Figure A.11 shows the Shock Tower Bolt location analysis. The value found in Figure A.9 was used to determine the dimensions of the shock tower. The distance found was from the middle of the shock tower to ensure that it would be symmetrical. The mounting distance from the middle was found to be 42.73 mm.
